Warning: This post is a poor example for those of you who are seasoned tablescapers, but it give us amateurs hope that with just a few small inexpensive things or things you find around the house, you can set a pretty tablescape anyway.
I recently ran across these pretty dishes at TJMax and had to have them. 222 Fifth Studio is the maker and the birds are what caught my eye. I have bird figurines at home that would match this, I thought. Sure enough, they did. I didn't complete the setting with flatware, but thought I would post a few pictures anyway just to show off the lovely dishes. Looks like we're ready for breakfast - just the two of us!

| This table was made in 1874 (it's dated on the bottom) and came from an Estate sale in my community about 20 years ago. I use it as a center table in my living room. But it makes a perfect little table for two. |

Love it! I have these also, I was a able to score service for 6 in the dinner and salad plates and a two tiered server last spring. I haven't used them yet. I am looking for napkins and square chargers. So glad I found your blog through BNOTP. I haven't been tablescaping since my move out of state. Imagine a garage filled to the top with dishes and accessories! Yikes! Ill be back to visit! LOOVVEEE your table runner!!!!
